Rain or shine, the KEN-MOR is a unique event every year! And Rain or Shine, it takes a heck of a lot of team work from both our Kentucky Dragway staff and racers alike. Cleanup, paperwork, and post Ken-Mor reset and refresh just now completed as the sun sets here at #TheCity. It may not have been the full race weekend we all look forward too, but Thursday’s turnout was another one for the Ken-Mor record books and we were on trend for an overall record turnout again for the weekend! Many positive things are on that beautiful Eastern Kentucky horizon for next season! 2026 has been a rough ride for everyone, with the economic impact of diesel, gas, and extremely high costs of operating and traveling across the board. As a race family we have also suffered the loss of many close family members, racers and even our very own Dallas Clark.
We pray for a restful and peaceful conclusion to the 2026 season for everyone. And a much more joyful and abundant 2027! Above all we thank God, our dedicated racers, and the BEST staff and crew a track could ever have! We couldn’t do it without you.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans, and Saturday and Sunday were cut short due to the hurricane-related weather that moved through our area. While we certainly wish we could have finished what we started, there's something much bigger that Carrie and I want to share with everyone.
𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗻-𝗠𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸. And this year, even with the weather cutting our weekend short, our numbers were considerably higher than last year's record-setting event.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
Carrie and I pour our hearts into Kentucky Dragway. Like anyone trying to build something meaningful, we face challenges, difficult decisions, and sometimes uncertainty created by the opinions and actions of just a few people. There are days when those few voices seem louder than all the good happening around us.
But this weekend reminded us of something incredibly important.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀, 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘂𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁.
And sometimes, that's exactly the reminder we need.
You have no idea what it means to us to look out across this facility and see racers, families, and friends coming together to support something that means so much to our family. It's humbling, it's encouraging, and quite frankly, it makes our hearts happy.
𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱.
To every racer who entered, every family who attended, every sponsor who contributed, and every person who helped make this event possible, 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨!
We may not have gotten the ending we hoped for, but we certainly received a reminder of why we continue doing what we do.
𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗴𝘄𝗮𝘆, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝗻-𝗠𝗼𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆.
This year's 56th Annual Ken-Mor Bluegrass Nationals was dedicated to the memory of 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸, and it meant so much to us to see our racing community come together to honor his memory and show their love and support for the entire Clark family. That is what the Ken-Mor tradition and the racing family are truly about. ❤️
