Is the points system finalized?
No. The points system is currently under review and remains subject to change.
Why is the points system under review?
The review process allows Kentucky Dragway to ensure the points structure is fair, consistent, and aligned with class participation, event formats, and overall program integrity for the season.
Can the points system change after the season starts?
Any revisions or clarifications will be completed and officially announced on the Kentucky Dragway Website.
How will final changes be communicated?
All finalized points rules will be published on the Kentucky Dragway website before the first race of the year.
Why is this policy important?
This process ensures transparency, consistency, and fairness for all competitors while allowing Kentucky Dragway to deliver a competitive points program that reflects racer and sponsor input and operational needs.
Kentucky Dragway reserves the right to review, clarify, and finalize the points system prior to the first scheduled points event. All decisions are final.

2026 Team Kentucky Dragway – IHRA Bracket & World Finals Eligibility
To be eligible for Team Kentucky Dragway and consideration for the IHRA Bracket Finals, including World Finals participation in Memphis, racers must hold an active Kentucky Dragway Membership and participate a minimum of three 2026 points events and be signed up with IHRA,

This Membership is separate from IHRA

Membership Benefits & Purpose: Membership supports track operations related to points tracking, ensures points program eligibility throughout the season, facilitates racer sign-ups and tracking with IHRA, and makes participants eligible for Kentucky Dragway points championships, Team Kentucky Dragway representation, and IHRA Bracket Finals and World Finals participation in Memphis.

IHRA World Finals Qualifications, The highest points finisher in each class based on when they signed up with IHRA and Kentucky Dragway Membership program.
Kentucky Dragway must be listed as your Home Track with IHRA!
Qualified racers will represent Kentucky Dragway while competing against the top racers from our IHRA region at the Bracket Finals, with advancement opportunities and national recognition at the IHRA World Finals in Memphis.
